I just heard that Columbus Republic racing columnist, Tim Mckinney has been on life support. Does anyone know what happened to him???

First I've heard, mac. I'll ask around here today. Last time I saw Tim, he was getting around on a motorized chair.

Mac/Danny_Tim was taken off of life support around the 3rd of January. He is currently at the 'hospice' facility in Columbus. They are 'making him comfortable'. So, please keep Tim and Sherry in your prayers!

A reliable source has said that Tim passed away earlier today. Fellow Columbus residents, watch in the newspaper for whatever information is forthcoming.

RIP, Tim, you were very faithful to all the local drivers, and racing in general. For those who would like to read his obit, you can read it at www.therepublic.com, in the obits section, or go to the funeral home website listed above. As the obit reads, Tim really loved the 3/4 midgets, and not only Tony, but a lot of others who were involved, just a real nice man. Thanks Tim, for allowing me to be a friend. Bob
