Would anyone happen to know what happened to the #55 K&K Garage/Canaday midget that Steve Knepper won the Belleville Highbanks with?

Just a wild guess, but I would say when Steve was done racing it, Junior sold it to one of the Siners.

Thanks for the reply. Nope it didn't go to the Siners. Steve & Nick are asking around about it and I am just trying to give them a helping hand. I appreciate your reply.

Ok...here is my research (with not so good news...) -

About 15 years ago, journeyman northern IL racer Eddie Sauer had run a car that he thought was the 1988 Belleville winner.

The car he had, was originally built as a 4 bar Cannaday (I think, don't quote me on that part). He got it from the McDuffy's.

At one point the car had been converted to coil front.

Unfortunately, the car did not survive one of his recent moves. If this was in-fact the car you are looking for, I would say you could quit looking...sadly...
