For those keeping score Xtreme had 21 cars in Kansas the following weekend. This weekend will be USAC chance with races in Kansas and Missouri.

Open wheel racing is getting spread pretty thin in the Missouri / Kansas region. The 305-winged car race last Saturday between Wheatland and Humboldt only had 6 cars.

I wonder how many will hit IL Midget week in a few weeks? Planning to go for the 1st time

Neither Badger nor MARA is running that weekend, so you may pick up a couple north/central Illinois cars, if they want laps and start money.

I saw the last three shows of IL midget week last year and the car counts were always good. (high 20s low 30s) I would continue to watch the results. POWRi does have previous years results on their web page to see who was there last time.

USAC won this years Heartland challenge with 27 cars Saturday night at Belleville, Ks. They did drop to 22 for the Sunday show at Sweet Springs.
