For IOW Nation, this should be a wake up call, or this should leave a lot of questions regarding dirt track business models and operations; depending on your level of involvement.
At one point earlier in the season I heard a rumor, not solid facts but a rumor that Bruton Smith was bankrolling the series. He has since passed so who knows.

Very slow to get the show started. The Saturday night of the Kokomo Klash is my favorite race of the year, but unfortunately it has often had the same problem. Too slow to get cars on the track and get the show rolling when they have a big car count. It just seems like they don’t have the same sense of urgency if they aren’t running sprints. I was planning to go tomorrow night. I will stay home since it looks like I will get very little rest before work on Wednesday. Kudos to Kokomo for taking on this show. Wish the timing worked out better to have a larger crowd.
