I dug in some boxes in the basement, and found some 'Hero Cards' I had on my bedroom door when I was a kid. (a couple of them have some water damage from a couple of years ago...)

Those are awesome Bill!

I believe the Cannon orange 59 was a Hoffman family owned car?
Malcolm Lovelace, whatever happened to him?

You should post those Indy ones in this thread also, a lot of people would like to see them:

David: I think that is the Hoffman's Indy car, that Larry is pictured in.

A buddy of mine told me, that a while back he delivered some parts to a company in Springfield, OH....and the guy that was his 'contact' there, was named Malcolm Lovelace. I don't know if it's the same guy, but how many Malcolm Lovelaces could there be in this world

Your pictures are awesome!

I remember Lil' Joe driving Tipp Machine and Tool's #70, but I didn't remember/know that they also had a #71.

You're right Bill, there just can't be TWO Malcolm Lovelace's, lol. I mean, what are the odds???
As far as the Tipp machine and tool cars, the # 70 was common but the # 71 was kind of rare. I only remember Jerry Weeks driving it. I'll have to nose around in my stash to see if I can find more of the # 71 car.

Those kind of trailers were the best kind of free advertising a promoter could ask for...

Amen to that Bruce! Growing up about 20 miles from Winchester, I used to sit outside and watch the "rigs" go by our house on race mornings. Used to bug my Dad and tell him, we need to get moving! lol.
