Captrat, Eldora,is a hell of a lot bigger than Atomic or Lawrenceburg, which are two, 3/8 miles. Gravel's Average Speed was a blistering 142.868 MPH!! 😉

It’s in between 3/8 and 1/2 mile. I think the actual measurement is .43 miles. That would put Gravels lap around 122 miles per hour.

It's .46 Mile about a lane off the bottom next to the wall. Seen some one with the track post this a few years ago.

The WoO's Johnny Gibson measured the track for use in WoO records a few years ago. See below for his post on HH's.

Official WoO measurements (for Oswald): Devils Bowl .425, Eldora .437. And yes, measured at the mid point between the inside and outside edges of the racing surface.

So then what is the MPH for 12.6 on .437 track?

Keith, I know, Johnny Gibson used, Google Earth to get an exact measurement of virtually every track, WoO, has ever raced on. But take it from someone that has driven at Eldora, Terre Haute, Knoxville, Toledo, Freeport, & other 1/2 miles. Eldora, may technically be slightly shorter than other 1/2 miles, but the Speed is unprecedented!! 😉😀
