In a move to level the playing field SLATE TIRE will be the only approved tire and Granite will be the only approved right rear tire compound. All tires will be tested by a BFH and if any indentation bigger than the baseline 3X3 inch and half inch deep will be deemed illegal.
USAC spokesman Frederick Flintstone tells us that by testing all right rears, it solves the problem. All cars will have the 3X3 in divet in their tires so its fair for everyone. After several test the tires are expected to have more grip. These tires are also expected to last a dozen or so races no matter track conditions.

The Slate Rock and Gravel Company will also be the new title sponsor for the series.
While this may be a solution I'm eagerly awaiting the results from the new track surface reported to be at Perris next year.
I'm also of the understanding that any beef product, including hamburgers, will be strictly forbidden on the grounds. Chick-Fila, however, will be prominent on the concession menus.
Larsen E. Whipsnade and Russel Upsomegrub want to know if you could furnish square tires for USAC/TESCS so they can avoid potential accusations of allowing a tire monopoly by the Hoosier HEFFER.
