This track is a MUST see place if you are even slightly interested in midgets, slide job city. Ron Miller turned me on to it and those that know me know I"m never speechless but I was during first hot laps, my jaw dropped and could only mumble Holy S##t . Thanks Ron cuz I"m hooked on the place

Any race at this old style bull ring is a must see race .I drive 450 miles one way from Napoleon ,Ohio and it is worth every mile, and midgets at Macon are a close second.

I agree with all the previous posts. Thanks to BTFunk for recommending it... saw POWRI midgets there & it was great!

Its teeny, looks almost as small as Chili Bowl, & old covered wooden stands make it look like it was the old county fair horse track (was it?)
Racing is intense!

My old hometown track. The track was built in a drained pond. It was built for midget racing. The Knepper Memorial is a can't miss event. Arnie Knepper was truly a thrill to watch there in his day.

Sure wish the WAR sprints could be scheduled with the national midgets.

Hi everyone--come on down for the Arnie Knepper Memorial set for April 26. You will have a blast. Not many tracks come close to the midget action here.

Its my favorite midget track. In the past I have....... scheduled my races around when they were running, was willing to gamble that a qualifying night would rain out at Knoxville (it did) and drive 6 hours to sit in 100 degree heat, quit my job because the boss would let me leave early one day and come in a couple hours later the next, drive over after work on a Wednesday night (250 miles) and back after the races and go to work on 2 hrs sleep. People always thought I was nuts to give up a race here in Indiana and drive over there instead. My reply has always been,I wouldnt drive 250 miles to and from if I thought I was going to see a crappy race. I've only seen a couple what I thought were average races. Most have been spectacular.
