It would be helpful if management could give us some direction as to what the track conditions and infield are like so that we can plan accordingly. If the infield is flooded like last week, please don't wait to cancel at the last minute. Many of us must travel several hours to get to the track. Thx.
Yes.....once you get done with what has probably been 15 to 20 hours of working in the driving rain after trying to get the track drained and worked in after being hit by storm after storm.....in an effort to provide a place for others to enjoy while risking your finances....make a judgement call based on what may happen tomorrow and let us know.
That way we can complain about whichever decision you make from our dry homes.
Pretty sure they are one of the few tracks that give everyone more than plenty of updates....give them time! I am sure they are trying to everything they can to get this race in....
If they cancel they will do it early.. I know the ground in grant county is very soft..it can't be much better over there..if it rains all night, as there is a shield of rain back to iowa, and in the morning..I would say it's not good..just a unreal amount of rain over north central Indiana the last 2 weeks or so..BTW they canceled around 8 in the morning last sat.
