Wanted to go, but had basketball games. Darn kids. Feature track was good. Separated the good cars from the bad. It was impossible to be perfect on the high side. At the same time it did not have so much character that cars were flipping when they hit it. Yes it ruined a few guys night. Track prep side, the limited amount of equipment hurts. With the wind, they needed a water wagon that they could keep hitting the high side with. The old marron truck just dumps to much. With a lighter sprayer, it could have been hit between each race. For a track only running a few races, they did good. Kinda disappointed to see only 25 show up. 33 on the pre-entry list. I only say this because crown cars have a ton of attrition. Dust wise, it was hard to tell on TV. Yes you could see the dust, but sometimes that is because of the lighting. Never go a shot to tell what the crowd looked like. Pit crowd looked good, as you could see several crew members walking back and forth. Infield, did not look good. Very solid spring race.
