I like the way they are turning this into an event. Didn't think I was going to be able to make it when they moved up the start time. Things got changed and I will be there.

Really hard for a track to start a non sanctioned event these days. Best have the sanction and improve on it where ya can. I say the same about the Staab. If every persons Staab helped, mentored or just made feel welcome around racing donated 1 dollar a year each year. We could have a 50k race

That was fun! Nice crowd. Thanks for coming
Seen the racing families on my way in and seen Rick a couple more times. Glad he's back. Seen Josh Shaw and MCRideer and a few others. Racing was awesome. Great tribute to Justin Owen.

Even though Im right about everthing this is JMHO. 5P starts should be the norm, not the exception in April and maybe even a few weeks into May. Fantastic well run show and comfortable temps. Last hour a heavy jacket or coat sufficed

I thought Saturday was good. All the rain and basically a daytime track worked to give it some character. Thanks to the family and friends of Justin Owen and the team at Lawrenceburg for doing all the extras, it really added to the event. A very efficiently run show. I hope this event continues to grow.

After thoughts.
Thanks for all that came. It was a stout crowd in the main grandstand and back stretch crowd looked good. It warmed up good come heats time. I was never cold. If you don't support these tracks in persons. They won't exist. That's all I'll say about that. Nothing like watching sprints at full song. Race notes. Moles Sixth to win heat was a scorcher. Felt bad but was glad or Saban on his Qualifying crash. he was fast. While Grant wasn't a surprise win. He was impressive. The Ballou Moles incident wasn't what it appeared to be in person, It started on the front straight. In person it just looked like Ballou got into him and took hm out. That's not the case. Glad to see C.J get back to full song after what hat to be a hard night to get thru at LPS. Not really been a fan of Stockon all these years (Nothing against him at all) But With Moose Racing. Im definitely liking that combo. He was fast all night in a groove most weren't using. Briggs Danner was the fastest on the track the second half of the race. Just laying down fast laps and picking cars off one by one. Big tip of the cap to J.G for stopping in three and raisng his helmet to Justin Owen. Lastly.. God I needed that! A race in person after a long winter, family health emergencies etc. Enjoy each other, good times when you can. Tomorrow is fleeting.
