Midget racing returns to Osgood-
Thursday July 27th during the 4-H fair!!

For the first time in some years, Midgets return to Ripley County Indiana during the 4-H and community fair flanked by Pure Stocks and Hornets!! Come during the day to enjoy the young folks' hard work in animals and exhibits, stay that evening for some great racing.

-D2 Midgets/Lightning Sprints
-Pure Stocks
-Hornets

Hot Laps at 6:30
Racing at 7:00

Address for grandstand entry only-
424 W. Cravens street Osgood indiana 47037

Racers notes:
Drivers meeting at 6:15
-D2 Midgets: although not sanctioned by USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets, their rule set will be followed with one exception- chain drive cars will be afforded an open tire rule to more closely align with current usage. Rules available at usacracing.com - Midwest thunder speed2 rules
- Pure Stocks and Hornets will follow Lawrenceburg rule set.

Haulers enter off of W. Fairgrounds Ave, turn at Casey's fuel station.

Very good. Bring along anyone that isn't going to Putnamville. Let's give them the crowd and show that that place deserves!

No disturbance at all Chuck. The promoter (who has been promoting for years) wanted to bring some open wheel racing back to the Osgood track. They reached out to RHR for some help and this is what they have come up with.

Osgood used to be a really fun track back in my TQ days so I’m excited to watch my boy race there.

I had my car on display at the Napoleon Fire Dept.'s annual picnic this past weekend with flyers attached to try to drum up some more local interest.

This being close to where I grew up, I'd really like to see it take off. Maybe a revolving thing between Ripley, Decatur, and Bartholomew Co. fairgrounds?
