Awesome night of racing. Passing everywhere, a few flips, a few open reds, great crowd, knowledgable USAC announcer. Some amazing paint schemes. This non-wing thing might catch on. Some random pictures from the turn 4 grandstands toward turn 3.


Seemed a sure bet BC was looking down on his racing family tonight.

I'm kind of bummed that they didn't use USAC format.
(They started straight up in the heats but then they didn't invert the top 6 in the feature). They used Badlands format.
PS Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

It may be because it being a multi-day event, they are accruing points toward qualifying for Sundays $50k to win race. Top ten in points run a "Scramble" for the top 5 rows. I thought they said it was a random draw for the Scramble starting positions.
