Good for Bill. Some of the teams need to understand they have an obligation to promote the sport, and it isn't always done by loading everything into an enclosed hauler and running down the road.

Cling made a hell of a save. That car was two thirds of the way toward barrel roll, sad he couldn't get repairs made.

I feel Ballou should have been evacuated from his car when they finally got him stopped, Things get a whole lot more panicked and complicated if fire breaks out. Glad everything worked out.

The answer to this one of course is be there in person, But the speed shot does nothing for viewers yet there are cars on the track. Id like to see who's out there. One of the things about Thursday night thunders and why everyone wanted to run or have their car out there was the exposure for car owners and sponsors. (Both are getting rarer)

Anyway, Congrats to THAT, Bill Rose and of course THE BEAST of Bacon on the Hulman, Was really worried it wouldn't even happen.

And thanks to the Stapp's for the qualification bonus in honor of Bopper.
Agree with your observations, but don't you think 24 cars shows a lack of support for the Action Track by the racers for traditional sprint racing?

It's a tuesday night, Lots of kids last couple days of school, some graduations going on and a work day. Now the top ten who have a crew chief who can drive the rig can show up and the driver later. But all those guys who don't can't make getting home at five and to the track. Seen a couple say it was because of the day (Work day) and another couple say it was due to tire cost to run there.

24s about average. Sprint week will have more.

The race ran successfully on Sunday afternoon for many years. Car count was always good. Track conditions were similar to what we saw Tuesday night.
