Sucks for Scotty that he was just fixing to take the lead and would have likely won for the 3rd straight time but left the ballpark while saving a spinout trying to dodge all the holes and ruts but rebounded and managed a 5th place. It was truly sad to see so many drivers tear up so many cars and so much equipment, so many tires busted, so many broken shocks, lots of flips in the D2s. Hopefully everyone who wrecked or flipped will be okay, the female driver in the D2s really flipped hard in the Feature. Honestly there was more wheels in the air then there was on the dirt. People on here dont have to like them, people on here dont have to respect them, but alot of the GC fan base is there for the stock cars. 4 Street Stocks total and 5 Hornets total was really really sad. Not sure what that was all about but several locals wasnt even there. Hopefully this isn't the start of a downhill slide at GC bc its looked that way the last couple of races. It's my 2nd favorite track. I will not sit here and bad mouth the track or officials, that's not me, but I can guarantee I heard more negativity then I have ever heard at GC tonight and it wasnt just track conditions. For me, honestly, worst racing, worst car counts, worst conditions, that I've ever witnessed with my own eyes. I'm not giving up on GC, just hoping it was a fluke and some kind of weird bad night. Hopefully the right people see how bad tonight was for safety, for the drivers and teams, for the fans, for everyone involved and they actually listen to all the complaints and dont just blow it off and they get it fixed and turned around real quickly.

On the plus side, I got to chat with Tom Bigelow who was a very personable fellow.

Tom was always easy to talk to, I met him years ago at Watsons shop, and occasionally later at races, and he appeared at my shop when we were having a car show, I always felt he liked the "little people " in racing.
