RAIN WINS SECOND STRAIGHT “PENNSYLVANIA MIDGET WEEK” EVENT AT PATH VALLEY

Spring Run, Pennsylvania………Heavy rains have forced cancellation of Monday night’s “Pennsylvania Midget Week” USAC Midget National Championship/ARDC event at Path Valley Speedway Park.

It was the second consecutive rainout for the series after Sunday night’s race at Susquehanna Speedway was called due to adverse weather conditions.

“Pennsylvania Midget Week” continues Tuesday night, Aug. 16 at Lanco’s Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway in Newmanstown and concludes with Abbottstown’s Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday, Aug. 17.

Track looks like it's draining. They don't race in the infield.

It was still pouring rain when the pic was taken. And it rained hard for another 30 minutes after, at least.

Sat thru storm. Race was called before 6:30. By 7:00 sun was coming back out. The school at the bottom of the hill already had kids out practicing soccer when we drove by. Would like to know who made the call. Seems like the plug gets pulled too quick anymore at some USAC events. 320 miles of driving down the drain.

I sat at path one night for for 2-3hrs waiting for them to run the track in after a afternoon rain storm....they called every race car in the pits to help wheel pack and it still took 2++hours!!!!

It don't take much to prep a soccer field!

It's a bad deal all around...they would have mAybe started by now...10:15pm...work in some rain dates...............

Mid Week shows are tough when it rains. You just can't start a show at 9 or 10PM on a week night.
