What's the deal with how messed up parking is when over half the lot is saved with coolers or chairs for people that don't show up til around 6 pm I got to the track at 3 on Thursday. Even handicap spots were being held with chairs.

I cannot remember a time in USAC sprints where the fields were stacked 25-30 deep. Probably ten top tier who you expect to get wins. Another 10-15 that could win and have on certain nights in certain conditions and another ten who if they had a full time team would or could be winners in USAC but are at other tracks regularly.

This is a series with a lot of big names in racing that have 5 or less wins.

I can remember late 70s through 90s where most races there were only about six you would choose from for the win. Now its Katy bar the door. Hang on!

Not saying USAC then wasn't good. Just having consi's filled with teams and drivers you'd be proud to have as any tracks MAIN event.

Probably same people with blankets in the grandstands. I don't understand why tracks continue to allow this stuff to happen.

So true. Last nights B would have been a great feature line-up on a normal race night at any track in IN. There is so much depth, this puts extra pressure on qualifying.

This show has reserved seating, so why are you worried about it if you are not even there?

Again I want to thank the Kokomo Speedway and the fans that have been at Kokomo This week. Fans are great but the Josh Spencer fans are awesome in my book.

Another thank you to everyone that has made The Halfmoon there choice when it comes time to eat with your help we may be able to do this again next year.

The weather has turned muggy with a cloud cover and a sprinkle here and there but nothing to worry about.

We have had nowhere near the results we have hoped for this weekend but I can give you my word we are still trying. Crazy as bad as it's been we are in third for the most cars passed behind Ballou and Short and had they not had some bad luck we would have the $500 bonus in our pocket.

Again thank you everyone for your support, be safe and have fun

I think next year the track should do King of the Hill Thursday and Friday using top eight qualifying times of those nights and Top Eight in Smackdown Points Saturday. I also think Driver introductions and the Grid Walk should be done Thursday and Friday also, I was watching from down on the track and the crowd seemed to really enjoy it. It was also great to see the Colfax Comet get a little recognition for his efforts. He was really touched.

Any track can dispense with all the hoopla intros before the main race when there is rain coming fast. We lucked out with the rain not hitting until right after the checker flag.

I couldn't agree with you more tom. But sometimes I think we got too much information available to us. All Saturday morning I was watching the weather on 3 different sites debating the 2 hour ride. Finally decided to go to kokomo, and glad I did. Almost went to Lasalle which is also a 2 hour ride, but a better forecast. Anyway, at the track I looked many times at the radar, and it was ominous. Couldn't believe they actually doing introductions. We were very lucky. However, thanks to all involved, and congrats to Dave Darland on an awesome win!
