To say that USAC doesn't adapt and evolve makes me think that maybe YOU are the ostrich.
Now I remember why message boards are a dumpster fire...

Car counts aren't going up anywhere right now.

Nope, still the best in the business. Just means they adapted and dropped the 50 car qualifying cut and tagged cars to the back of heats. Changed the invert to 8 on those heat races. Put in Hard Knox Friday so those guys that had a bad night could come back and take another shot a making the A main vs. being in the D. This is really my whole point of adaption and evolution of the sport.

Some formats give too much emphasis on Qualifying, others put too much on heats
Point system that Extreme uses may be confusing, but it factors in both.... not bad, IMHO

I am at Ocala. Interesting to note in the driver's meeting that there would be no group qualifying throughout the entire year as voted on by the drivers.

Also no more split qualifying. Sorry I forgot to mention that the first time.

Kinda makes me chuckle that some of may favorite race fans are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to topics on this thread. I too don’t agree with everything. One thing I will say however is I sure like drinking a beer with these guy’s at the race track 🍻
