What do I know, im just a ******* according to some. (Koooosh)
I wish we could have put on that race, with the track the way it was, it would have been interesting to see who would have been able to cowboy up and tame the holes.

Duke, why such a chip on your shoulder? I know you were pretty good back in your day, but why are you so bitter towards everyone?

55 minutes to run the modified 20 lap feature! Good thing they cut it down from 30 laps. Lots of people left before the midgets finished. Plus a lot of down time in between any action. See you next year if they don't run the modifieds with the Hut 100.

I agree with the guy that went to Eldora. Like he said they had 200 plus cars and was done by 11:00PM. THAT had 74 cars, started at 3:00PM (an hour late from the advertised start time) and still did not get done till almost midnight.
The whole night seemed like it was out of sync.
Why did they start an hour late, when there was no weather or any other reason, except poor planning?
I had my scanner tuned to the track and from what I heard there was a lot of indecision. Davy said the track needs work or it would not be safe for the midgets, King says we will do track work after the Mod B main, then changed his mind.
In fact they could not even agree when to play music during down time, which there was plenty of. They knew the crowd was upset and talked about it, but did nothing. They were asking each other, are you ready for this, how many laps do the Mods feature run? Some said 30 others said 20. The best I could figure is that they cut the laps for the Mods because the show was running way to long.
Let us face facts. When the Midget feature finally pushed off, the track was rough and dusty, not as bad as The Silver Crown show, but plenty dusty. I did say dusty, not dirty, there is a difference.
Even our buddy Gunn was at times awol. I heard them page him many times and got no response, maybe he was updating IOW, who knows.
I truely hope this group has learned from this season and make major improvements next year. I appreciate what they have done to save THAT and the only way to keep the salvation is to impove the program they put on.
Maybe next year with time to set up a schedule and a year of experince, all will be well in THAT land.
