Like so many of you have expressed, I am shocked over the loss of a friend. Dwight was the first friend I made on the IOW board. We became PM buddies and shared a couple of marathon phone conversations about both being from N. Y. State, the people we both knew that raced on the east coast, racing in general. Dwight would talk about his children, his health, his shoulder injury that kept him from golfing. Dwight has taken a great interest in one of my family members professional golf careers, I would receive regular updates from Dwight on David's career. I rarely ever look at the PGA website, yesterday morning I did, when I found that David was leading after the first round of the Nationwide Golf Tour; I was suprised I didn't have a PM from Dwight. Now I know why, RIP my friend.
I am sorry we never got a chance to me each other face to face.

My thoughts and prayers are with your children, your family and friends. Dwight, you will be missed by your IOW family.

RIP,

Patti

I am in a state of shock and speechless!!!!!!!! Dwight was definitely one of the good guys. His passion and knowledge of the sport was unquestioned. His generosity, kindness and friendliness unfathomable. I, like many here have never actually met Dwight in person, yet he was just like an old friend who you would bump into from time to time. It seemed he never had a bad word to say about anybody. Over the last few years I have had several PM and chat room conversations with Dwight and he was one guy I would loved to have met if I ever made to the US from here in Austalia. As has been stated Dwight was a memeber of several message boards around the world and his input to all was always for the right reasons and always well respected by all.

My condolences to Dwight's family and friends. The world and in particular the racing world and message boards will be a lesser place without his input.

RIP Dwight Clock

Oh, what horribly sad news to learn on a Sunday morning.
We will all remember Dwight fondly, for his love of this sport and his knowledge of it's history, and God will surely remember him for his charitable works and giving of his time and talents to those in need. God bless you, Dwight. We were blessed to know you. :crying::crying::crying:

Just like everyone else I am in shock.
Talk to him at Gas City 2 or 3 weeks ago.
He was telling me about his Job at the speedway.
He told me that it was his dream job and was planning on working
there for a long time. Always live today like it was your last because
you never know. RIP Dwight

Quite saddened by the news! I don't know what to say that has not already been said. It's always hard to lose a friend!

A very sad day for everyone at IOW. Rest in Peace my friend and say hello to Tim Richmond, Dale Earnhardt and my Grandparents if you see them. My God Bless your Family in their time of sorrow.

Godspeed Dwight
I met Dwight at Brownstown that night also. He was obviously someone who knew what they were talking about and had great passion for racing. I, like many others, will miss his voice of reason posts.
