I sure hate to see a race won and lost like that. I sure hate to think it was planned on his part but it sure looked like it. Congrats on your win Hunter, I hope it was worth it....

I didnt expect to hop on IOW and see people arguing over myself and blands antics at the b-town during sprintweek. I dont have a problem with the him. Nothing is personal. If Joe Blow would have spun me out I would have had something to say to him as well. If all you do is make friends around these tight bullrings then most likely your not running toward the front. There is going to be some beatin and bangin especially for a win. I've made moves that the next week I felt bad about, but thats how it is and everyone just moves on. So thats my 2 cents.

P.S. If anyone has a sprintcar layin around my services are available.

now wasnt haubstadt bad a$$ as normal?

Danny Holtsclaw

I have to agree with Danny on this one. What a great night of racing, as usual at the "Class Track"! Racing is racing and yes at times drivers get in over their head and make moves they regret later. What I saw on Saturday night were 2 drivers giving all they had to win this race. And yes Hunter's slide job to win the race was less than perfect, but I believe that in no way was it intentional. It would have been good to see either one of those guys win Sunday night. Least it wasn't boring. Now it's time to let it go and move on to the next race!!

I think what alot of you guys' forget, because you see them week in and week out, is, not to long ago, Our government gave some of these guys' a license to drive a car at 55 MPH, strap an 800 Horse Power motor to their a$$ checks and SOMETHING might happen......YA THINK.......their KIDS':respect:..... Indiana has a great mix of young very talented driver's and the old cagey veterans that still have the desire to mix it up JUST A BIT. Like Jerry said, some of ya's forget just how good you have it. So I'd say, grab a pepsi, sit back, relax and watch some of the BEST SPRINTCAR RACING IN THE COUNTRY.....ORRRRR, I cordially invite everyone to tag along with me on Friday night to Williamsgrove Speedway, there will be a little passing but NO RACING, we MIGHT be lucky enough to see a pass for the lead. Any takers'......Didn't think so.....:nonwingfan:

Everyone enjoy the racing this weekend, I probably won't :action-smiley-049:

P.S...I seen the Hunter/Bland incident too.............

Oh, lord...First The Dropkick Murphys, now the Dead Kennedys. Is there maybe a quotable band out there called the Drop Dead McShaughnessys ? I'm starting to think you might have a fondness for the Ol' Emerald Isle or something. Or maybe the Southie Projects...:moon:

I take it Hunter wasn't in the "bacj-up jack" wrenched car. Was he in Walkers car? Obviuosly I know that he was. Just wanted to make note of how good this kid has been since leaving the penalty box.

Couldn't agree with "Jakethesnake" more on the finish. Anybody can do those "super slides" and make the leader stomp the brakes to keep from getting hit or do the hitting. Seemed to me Bland could have just took Hunter out earlier like Meserhual did Ricky Williams but he didn't. The finish at Kokomo is what its supposed to look like. Wow what a great finish!:thumb
