What race track in Kentucky is that? (PS, I was being sarcastic, I knew you meant Tri State {which is only an hour and 20 at most from TH})

Its only about an hour and a half from Terre Haute to Olney and generally he gets a lot of fans to travel up and to the Sprintweek show at Haubstadt. His record at THAT going back to 2005 is phenomenal.

Hey Chuck,

Next time say "Hi", you won't be bothering me. I would have stuffed you in the front seat for a few laps. You were right though, my phone was ringing off the hook. It usually does on race night. I finally tossed it in the center console and replaced it with the headset. Glad you enjoyed the evening. Hope you get to come back again. I am sure we will run into each other sometime... Like you, I spend way to much time at the races! But... I will die with a smile on my face. :2:

A tip of the hat to Chris Novotny and Tim Wolfe for the track prep. They worked hard all week to get the track race ready. Yes, Tommy Helfrich at Tri-State and Mike Miles at Bloomington are consistantly top notch with their track prep and both have many years experience. However, THAT is twice as wide (75') and twice a long (1/2 mile) meaning they prep four times as much area with about a fourth of the equipment those guys have. Not to mention THAT requires hundreds of thousands of gallons more water. This is only about the sixth time these two have prepped the track at THAT. Nice job guys. Keep up the hard work. The racing was great.

Another tip of the hat to the photographers. You guys got some outstanding shots Thursday night. Thanks for posting them for all of us to enjoy. You guys rock. Hope I didn't run over any of your toes.

Joe
