Everybody that comes to this place, profits from it. Just not in the financial sense.

Sort of ironic that all this pizzing and moaning occurred over THANKSGIVING weekend.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion or philosophy, so here's mine: I'm sure the good ole days were great. I wish I could have heard the sound of an offy at full song. I wish I could have seen a race at Ascot. I wish I could have witnessed AJ Foyt win Indy in a roadster. But I can't. However I can plan a road trip to Bloomington, the Burg and Kokomo for next year. I can tell my friends about how awesome Winchester is. I can say that I met Jack Hewitt and watched him race. Some of you may think I'm simple minded and that's OK, but I ALWAYS have fun at any sprint or midget race.(Yes Chris, I always have fun watching the late models and modifieds too!)
I hope ALL of the posters and lurkers on IOW have a wonderful Christmas and get to spend time with their loved ones.

Rex, I had wondered about that recently too. His last post was in the "Thougts on 2008 Knoxville Cost Saving Rules" thread on 10/28. He editted a post he had made only 11 minutes prior. It now says only "I'm done here".
I hope he soon realizes that grassroots open-wheel racing in America is in deep doo-doo without his wisdom on IOW. We need for him to end his self-imposed exile.

Another member I miss seeing post here and on Midgetmadness is Baue. He always was more mature than most and never stooped to the level of others (myself included).

On the flip side I have come to enjoy the posts of OSSUKS. He is always stright to the point.
