Yep, about a 90 minute drive from Richmond, as I recall. The IRL and USAC were both at RIR and one night I saw that the USCS, I think, was running at VMS. Glad I went. A very nice facility.

I recall asking Rollie about the USAC guys scheduling a race there with little response. Too bad. Might be a good race there. It's either a large 3/8 mile or a small 1/2.

How about the "24 Hours of DuQuoin" for the USAC Silver Crown Series?

I hope it wouldn't be like the 24 hours of the 4 crown held a couple of years ago.It may sound good in thought , but sucks when done for real.
