Why in the hell is anyone ******** about running the track in for ten minutes I myself thought it was a hell of a racy track the last two weeks. Three weeks ago they were all ******** cause it took rubber and was dusty including myself. Give em a little credit it is pretty rare there is still some moisture left in a feature around here and with the draw deal you have to have a little racetrack to pass anyone. Kroc is probable just pissed cause he can't block the whole field all night when the whole racetrack is good. The guys preparing the track are just paid to work there on saturday and have been giving it a good effort for what they have. Let em water the piss out of it it will end soon enough.

Guys I think we can all agree that the track is far and above better than it was several years ago when three of the four corners featured craters and huge rocks. This year's track has been near perfect comparative to those days and while I don't have to wipe my car down after packing the track, even packing is taking far less time than it used to.
Even as little as last year, the track took sometimes 40 or more minutes and 20 cars at a time out there to get the track even worked into manageable shape. So I think that the time and effort that has been put into working on the track during the week has been pretty commendable. I was late leaving the track after the race several weeks ago and they were already out beginning to till the track back up, which never used to happen.
I think if you think back on all the driveshafts, springs, A-arms, ball joints and twisted frames that the track ate in year's past, that 20 minutes or so of packing this year for a racy track isn't too much to deal with. Rather be annoyed at a little spent time packing than be wide-eyed when I had to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to fix what a rough track broke each week.

I may just be a photographer and writer and not a driver, but that's just my opinion.
