Sort of ironic that all this pizzing and moaning occurred over THANKSGIVING weekend.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion or philosophy, so here's mine: I'm sure the good ole days were great. I wish I could have heard the sound of an offy at full song. I wish I could have seen a race at Ascot. I wish I could have witnessed AJ Foyt win Indy in a roadster. But I can't. However I can plan a road trip to Bloomington, the Burg and Kokomo for next year. I can tell my friends about how awesome Winchester is. I can say that I met Jack Hewitt and watched him race. Some of you may think I'm simple minded and that's OK, but I ALWAYS have fun at any sprint or midget race.(Yes Chris, I always have fun watching the late models and modifieds too!) I hope ALL of the posters and lurkers on IOW have a wonderful Christmas and get to spend time with their loved ones. |

Rex, I had wondered about that recently too. His last post was in the "Thougts on 2008 Knoxville Cost Saving Rules" thread on 10/28. He editted a post he had made only 11 minutes prior. It now says only "I'm done here".
I hope he soon realizes that grassroots open-wheel racing in America is in deep doo-doo without his wisdom on IOW. We need for him to end his self-imposed exile. |

"WHAT GRINDS MY GEARS" or... "PLEASE ***** HERE" OR better yet.... "YOUR OPIONION HERE.... IF YOU WANT KICKED IN THE BALLS VERBALLY"....Whatta Ya think Bill?
