Clearly you were not at this race. Watching MDC slice and dice his way through the field - almost lapping the entire field - was amazing to watch.

Thunderlips..........You have no clue as usual......Try going to a race some time instead of just bad mouthing.............Awesome display of talent in the Modern Day Cowbow tonight. When you can lap up to 6th place on a surface as good as TSS, it is quite a feat. Quote of the night.......MDC sez tha race track is just Tommys Garden....LOL |

Wait, when its posted several times that Clayton ran away, lapped up to fifth and nobody had anything for him takes that as a runaway win. Thats trolling?
Thunderlips was at a race, A race where four cars battled under a blanket for 25 laps. He said he liked MDC. Chuck, who's seen two races at TSS and both have been run away wins., That doesn't mean they all are. YAWN, IM Tired, Glad you all seen a good race. We did too ![]()

Clayton drove as good of a race as I have ever seen at Tri State. Great in traffic , that car was honking.
They got the show finished before 10 about as good as I have seen, congrats. The heats were great racing, especially the first one. Thanks to the folks that sent PMs and replied to eating establishments. We had a great time tonight. Great Race

Jen is right. That is so impressive what we saw, tonight. Occasionally, you see this feat pulled off in a local show. But even that's rare. And remembered for a long time after it's done in that situation. What we saw tonight was Daron Clayton laying waste to a USAC field, like they weren't even there! He won by over a half a lap and lapped Dave Darland, Tracy Hines and Bryan Clauson all in the same race!!! Lapping all the way up to 6th place! Unbelievable! It was reminiscent of JJ Yeley's performance at Terre Haute, during Indiana Sprint Week, several years back. It was just that dominant. The night started off with a magnificent battle for 2nd-3rd-4th and 5th, in the first heat between Hines, Darland Clauson and Stockon. You could have thrown a blanket over all four, for nearly all of that race and other than slight contact between Clauson and Darland, they hardly even touched one another. The second heat was nearly as good and the feature was something that people will be talking about for years! Another great night at Tri-State Speedway. The track was another beautifully prepared racing surface and they were rewarded with a really big crowd. Now, hopefully Mother Nature will allow us to finish the weekend out at the track that made Sunday racing famous. Jerry
