Here's a BTT for Marv!

I'd make this a "sticky" thread but I know Marv is getting plenty of needle sticks.

Hang in there Marv, we're all thinking about you!

Marv's update: Yestrday they turned meds off and did some tests, asking him to squeese their hand and wiggle his toes and smile, he did two of the three, smiling no, not yet. They had to stop when BP went through the roof, so back to sleep for Marvie. They took wires out of his groin area so that he could be in a half way sitting position, He is off the IV BP meds and holding his own, in the next two days they will remove the ventilator and see what happens. He is still critically sick anything can still happen but he is progressing with each little step they take, so one can only pray. Thank you all for your kindness and prayers, please keep them coming. I can speak for Marv and tell all of you that we love you and can hardly wait to be with you all again. Friends at Willie's drink a tall one for Marv, he would like that. Until next time.....Jude

Wow, I have been out of the loop for a few days. I am so sorry to be reading all of this they have been through but the key word here is through. I am thrilled to read that he is through the initial set back and doing better. We will for sure be praying. Marv was always a friend of TP's when he would be in the pits and we hope for him to be back on his feet and back at the track soon enjoying the racing that he loves SO much.

Marv update: Marv is waking up, he will turn his head in the direction of your voice, he looks into space which they said that is normal for the meds that he is on because of the ventilator. The brain wave wires are coming off sometime tonight. The ventilator could be removed as early as tomorrow but Tuesday is the due date. The staff is amazed at how well he is doing in the short span of time. He tried to say something to Doug but all I got from him were frowns, I will take anything at this point. He still is very sick and we have a long way to go but today has been a very good day, Thank you God, miracles really do happen, I am watching one with Marv. Please continue to keep him in your prayers and thank God for hearing you. Love to all, Jude
