I agree with several others...the track didn't look racey but the racing was great. There was a top, bottom, and middle. I remember in Clayton's heat seeing a lot of 4 wide. We will definately go back again.
Tim and the rest of Brownstown Speedway, it certainly looks like there is enough support for more sprint car races in the future!!!!!!

Chris,
This was the second time I have been to Brownstown this year. Both the Lucas Oil Late Model show and the USAC sprint show provided great racing through out the pack. Both nights the track got dusty and with a little more prep and a little less weather I think you will be fine.
With this being USAC's first trip to Brownstown (and hopefully not the last), it was very interesting to see who figured it out and the one's that didn't. DD, Cottle, Clayton, Stanbrough seemed to either hold there position or go backwards. Hud Cone and Chris Windom caught my eye as drivers who were hooked up advancing through the field.
Due to a work schedule we only arrived about the start of the hot laps. Briefly spoke with Checker'd Past, Dwight, Jerry Shaw and Ron Miller but sorry to say that was all of the IOW members that I saw. Hopefully next time we can get there early.
Again, Chris a big round of :applaud: for the Brownstown crew. A great family in the racing community. I hope that the MSCS race gets a rescheduled date.
