Spridge...I wish I were on a racing tour like you...I would be laid back too!

In all fairness when reviewing what was said in this thread...In all due respect to Tim Clauson...It looks like Tim heavily defended the Kemper Arena deal....A- Because Bryan won last year... in an Armstrong Farms car... impressive drive...

And B---Because he wants to rent cars for Kemper..No wonder he jumped all over Don

Tony I dont think those are the only reasons Tim defended that race. Its good for the sport, just like the FW races are. I have a feeling Tim will be involved with our little corner of the racing scene long after Brian is a full time tin top driver.

A)You had no problem "dropping" Bryan's name as an entry in your series
B)I bet you wouldn't have a problem if he was renting pavement midgets for your FT. Wayne race

I am a Bryan Clauson fan..that's why I had no trouble dropping his name..I was thrilled he won my race at CMS in 05...It put a race that had been hit by bad weather into the record books for a long time.

I hope Tim rents all his cars at Kemper..Thats good for him...good for the economy...I am just saying it's no wonder he jumped on Don to cut off the debate...This thread has made more people aware of the Kemper deal...Plus I gave Clausen's rental business a plug....Good for them... How much do the cars rent for?...What damage deposit?

Chris Wilke said it THE ABSOLUTE BEST: "I wish more here were less interested in schadenfreude and more interested in unity"

From where I sit, USAC is the last group to blame for the current downfall of the sport.

I for one am glad it was pulled. I was tired of people who don't go to races telling how f'd up it is where I spend my entertainment dollar. Talk about beating a dead horse.

I do appreciate the lengths that indoor promotors go to promte their events. All included.

Hi Brent, just a few clarifications:

1) I go to plenty of races here in Minnesota. Arlington, Redwood Falls, Jackson, it's winged stuff but what can ya do? I didn't press that issue with Kirk because I assumed he was talking about USAC races in Indiana. Of which, no I don't get out that way too much.

2) Please go back and read every single one of my posts in the Kevin Miller thread. Then copy/paste my exact quote as to where I told you, or anyone else, where to spend your entertainment dollar. Just a tip, if you're gonna accuse someone of a quote, it's best to provide a link, or copy/paste their quote. Otherwise you're just putting words in their mouth.

Peace brotha,
David.

No offense, but you wern't one that really bothered me. I just quoted you becuase you brought up the subject. With that said when a guy goes on and on about what is wrong with something, and then posts that he dosen't go but to one race a year. Once again I am not saying this is you, but a lot of the posters on that thread fit that description. Those people really drive me nuts. Hope I did not offend you.

According to Spridge in the "Miller's Words Endorsing High Cost of Midget Racing" thread, post #17:

"BCRA will never be the trend-setter. USAC controls the trends in Midgets and Sprint Cars. Just like the World of Outlaws control the trends of winged sprint cars".

Based on that, USAC Fan, what group would you blame?

David.

Tony that would be like me saying the only reason you had Don tear down this event was because it conflicts with the Rumble deal ....

I defended it because this promoter IS PAYING A GREAT PURSE and PROMOTING THE HELL OUT OF MIDGET RACING in his area... . and its time that we who actually race stand up for those and with those who are allowing us to race.

And I am sick and tired of seeing our races torn down by our own community ... Get out of your back yard and talk to the people in other area's of the country and you will see that most are mystified how we can have such great racing but yet the events the races the promoters get torn down by our own ... I just don't get it ... By the way some one mentioned to me today about your and Don's motives and after reading this post it makes sense .....
