What a tough, tough break for Clayton. No one had anything for him when he was leading. Keep your head up DC...it'll all come together for you! Our son (ok, Mom and Dad too) enjoyed meeting you tonight and getting your autograph.
And way to go Jeff Bland Jr! :checkered: :applaud:
Way to hold 2nd and then 1st after DC lost his engine. :thumb
Was great to see you and Brady bring home 1st and 2nd.
What a great race to close out the season at Haubstadt.
Here's wishing for a race with as much excitement next week at L'burg!

DD ran himself out of a spot in the feature. With 8 laps to go in the B he pushed a little to hard on the bottom side and took himself and Kevin Thomas Jr out of contention. KTj was one out of the transfer and DD was 2 at this time. He did the same to Jerry Ruble in the C main. Looked to be pushing to hard tonight after the rollover.
Nobody had anything for the #92 but he had tough luck with the motor.
Track was amazing as always!
Congrats to Jeff Bland Jr but I would of liked to have seen Daron pull this out with the tough luck he has had this year.
The other Daren (Hagen) was very impressive tonight as he seems to get better everyt ime I see him.
I am still not sure how in the he$$ T-Mez was able to keep going after slamming the wall twice and once driving 1/2 way around on top of it! Amazing stuff.....
Hopefully Daron and Hud will be able to go next week at the Burg as I will be making my 1st trip over there. It will be a grueling 4 hour drive!

I like DD but he was doing more banging tonight than Hugh Hefner did in his prime.

I wish you all would quit your crying on Dave Darland getting to start on the tail. Well he got to and he couldn't make it to the front to transfer. Just like he didn't make it in the 07 speedweek but he didn't have USUC to GIVE him a "provisional" so he could screw Jon Stanbrough out of the title.
What I really can't believe about race fans now days is how they think a driver should get to start a race with a "promotors choice" or "provisional". I remember the good ole days when you didn't make the show you loaded up and went home no matter who you where. Thats the way it should be.
Dave Darland had a little bit of tuff luck tonight, he raced Hud Cone hard in an awesome heat race and biked it going in turn 3 and turned it over a couple of times. He came back to win the C main but he did run over a good Jerry Ruble running 2nd to do it. Then in the B he got up to 8th and got in a little to hard and tapped the car in front of him and spun. After going to the tail he didn't have time to get back to the front to transfer. There were some very good cars up front he might not have passed anyway. There ya go, thats what happened to DD.
NOBODY had anything for "Cowboy" .....

Thanks to the drivers and Tri-state speedway for putting on one of the Best shows I've seen yet! Big croud, beautiful track! Levi has to get the "hard charger" award as he earned every dime last nite! While everyone was using the sliders to pass, Cowboy just drove around or under everyone he passed and checked out! How does he hook a car up like that at Haubstadt?

Darland didn't run over ruble. That black road block was in ruble's way and he was basically spun out already when darland had nowhere to go and sent him the rest of the way around. I wouldn't expect someone like mr. scott to pick up on something like that...i'm just wondering when i'll have to read his spewings for the last time! Race wasn't really that good but it was great to see jeff bland get a very hard-earned win!
