After seeing what he did up in Kokomo this summer when he tried to drive up and over the other car in turn two this is one driver I have no respect for and if what was my kid that drove that way I would have beat his azz first then there would be no more of that stuff going on.It seems to be that there is a lot of the so called young drivers these days who have no respect for there cars or the other drivers out there because there is no penalty or lets say a good azz whipping to get them in line.My view is if you driving one of these cars then you should be able to accept the punishment or beating you deserve and if you are not able to accept the above then you do not need to put your azz in the seat of one of these cars.I will say I have seen plenty of races this summer and I know that you can race each hard and fair if they want to just look at the tape of Jon and Daron and Haubstadt should be something any series should make there driver's watch and say this is how it is done boys.

I was wondering what happened to Clayton! I was hoping he would bring home the win Sat., looked like it was his type of track and he would be hard to beat. As for everyones opinion on Sammy, maybe he didn't have a great personality, but he was a great sprint car driver. I've seen alot of races in my time and I've never seen where Hewitt could run with Sammy! Kinser, Swindell, and Wolfgang are the 3 best I've seen since I started following spintcars in the 80's. I never got the pleasure to watch Gaines, but I was told he was one of the greatest.

My turn.....
I'm not going to lie, I've been a huge fan of Sammy Swindell since I first saw him race in 1979. I have also been closely following Kevin's career. That being said, here is how I feel about the hypocrisy that I have been reading tonight.
No, I was not there, nor have I seen any video clips of the event.
Is there a driver out there that hasn't made multiple stupid moves in their career?
It is a know fact that a driver is not allowed to go to another driver to air complaints or get in a pissing match, it's always been that way. You go to an official to air your complaints. I have no doubt that Kevin screwed up, but Clayton didn't handle it by the rules.
Everyone loves to hate Sammy, it has always been that way and it will never change.
Who here remembers when Jack Hewitt punched Amy Swindell?
As far as the footage making to the masses, SPEED milked the Lasoski feud for all it was worth. Sad to say, I had a ton of "non racing" friends and folks from work mention the altercation to me when ordinarily, they wouldn't have ever mentioned anything about the race.
You people can dog Kevin all you want, but the fact remains that he is a very fast racer. He has won in everything he's driven in a short time. Has he torn up some equipment in this short time? Sure, but he's not alone people. Quit singleing out people just because of their name(s).

If it is a young kid in the car then the parents need to help that kid realize what he did wrong and teach them to man up to their mistakes.
However.....If the kid is an young adult and messes with the bull give'm the horns.
Defend that Brat all you want, he'll never change, because he doesnt have to.
I am really surprised it took this long to get a good rumble started with the ***** moves he has made all year.

I remember seeing Sammi punch her @ Knoxville a few years ago.
Sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Are you the Hawker from the other board?

I gotta chime in for what it's worth. I do not doubt Kevin or Brady's talent, but they have top notch equipment, an unlimited budget, and in my opinion one of the best mechanics in the business. Davey Jones is a genius with a set of wrenches in his hand. I have worked with Davey in the past a couple of times and I have the utmost respect for him and think he is one of the best. With these resources they should have posted better results. I think Brady should stay and Kevin should go. Brady has a lot of potential and he has proven it in the past, Kevin has indeed posted some impressive results, but has also had some moments of ignorance. Brady carries himself much better than Kevin and it shows. When you run for a caliber of team that KKR is, you have to act like a professional if you want to be treated like one. Kasey Kahne is not putting this money up for an 18 year old "kid" to make an ass of himself and embarass the team. I am sure they have worked their tails off to win races, but when all else fails, the easiest thing to change is the seat. As far as Sammy, I think it's admirable that he kept his kid out of a fight, but what he really needs to do is step aside and let his son take an ass-whippin like a man. He is old enough now, and it just might open his eyes.
