That is correct regarding Lambert/Baum, although when it was all said and done, unfortunately it never got off the ground.

Everyone needs to stop complaining about the damn scheduling conflicts. let me give you guys a little insite, when you are a new promoter, you do not walk into a track and say Hay I have this xxxxx series. We are goin to run here 4 times this season, and here are the dates that we will be here. O ya and the purse you have to pay is $xxxx. This is the stupid fantasy several of you have. When you are a new promoter you walk in give your speal. if they like it, then you start working on dates. By this point in the year, most tracks have at least 90% of there schedule completed. The track promoter normally gives them 1 or 2 dates and says this is all I can do take it or leave it. As a new promoter you can not leave dates laying on the table because they conflict with someone. in Indiana you conflict with someone every single Friday, saturday, or sunday night. Jon you will never please everyone, and remember message board are normally more negative than positive, (i am as guilty as everyon else on this). Listen to your drivers and fans that show up to your shows. Those are the people that count.

Maybe the contracts where just signed for both Twin Cities and Thunder Valley late last night? Just Maybe? Maybe May 8th is going to be placed on the Schedule in the next few days? Just maybe? Just Maybe I talked to Mason Fleetwood last night to get the final arrangements put together. But then again you may know something I don't. Maybe, but I doubt it. I'll never understand the motives behind these kind of comments? I don't mean to come across this p!ssy but dam guys give us a break.

Im sorry for my last post I guess I should be happy that there are people out there interested enough to follow our deal at all.Just sometimes I take stuff way to seriously. It just it takes so much effort to put these deals together and it's been an up-hill fight from the get-go.Big Willy you have every right to say what you think and I'm sorry for commin down on you for speaking your concerns.I'll feel better once we get started and spring finally gets here.

Again my apologies for being mis-informed, I just went to what I figured was the most up to date site for the schedule and didn't see a race for your series on May 8th. Please do not get me wrong I commend anyone trying to keep racing affordable and providing profitable shows for promoters. I have been a critic from day one though (and still am by the way) of having an "economy" class that travels. When Sam had the concept I felt a better way of building something sustainable was to align a couple of tracks that could run the steel blocks weekly and build upon that base. The concept of adding travel expenses to a series like this just didn't make sense to me. Having a Friday / Saturday weekly venue for these guys would be a better way to go about accomplishing your task in my opinion. Good luck in your venture...

My memory is not too good but didn't X2RA run like two races? I thought I recalled Coons winning one of them. Maybe not.

I think it got off the ground, albeit not too far IIRC.
