No one would have known any better(you want to call Tim a liar?), and all of this bit**ing would be for naught. It was Tim's call to make, and only his. Just as it's his kid, his car, his team, and his money......and IMO, he can do what he wants.....
Exactly what i was thinking.. ITS HIS EQUIPTMENT! Everyone who says well you already paid for fuel and pit passes.. YEA, and if something happends to the motor or car then he has to pay all that plus to fix the car.. Now whether it was a good choice or bad choice, it really doesnt matter! And then when the man apologizes you say hes bullshitting.. Wow, maybe you should field your own top notch car, get stuck at the back.. and think Gee do I really want to put say 50-60k on the line for a CHANCE to start at the back of a feature?? Bottom line, It was Tims decision.. He made it, its over..

No wonder they got pissed off and loaded up!

They already spent a chunk of change getting to the track-and into the track, but was then worried about the money they were going to be spending by racing?
yea bc BC or levi cant race. thats smart. bryan is one of the best all around racers out there. i have seen both these drivers drive there way through the field numerous times. someone already said before that levi only has was equipment he has left to finish out the year. if you pretty much know you wont make the show through the heat why would you waste that equipment? there wasnt much passing in the heats anyway. i support both teams with there decisions.

There is nothing wrong with the mscs format you just have to race your way in thru the heats and make the show you have to really earn it.What is going to happen next if they do not start up front for the feature are they going to load up and leave. If Levi's crew did try to redraw to enter another car what a classless act he is now after showing no respect for his fellow racers by trying to run on a flat right rear on the half-mile at terre haute earlier and now this latest performance what a poor excuse for a racer.Dave congratulations on a great weekend and the track was great both night and has Jon said in victory lane saturday night thanking everyone for showing up and the shape the track was in now here is what a real racer should be handling things.

Why race a sprint car at all then?

YEA, and if BC goes out to hot lap, blows the motor and dumps it, his ol' man would still have to fix or buy new again anyhow, so what's your point???

The Jack Hewitt Classic at Waynesfield paid $3,000 to win, and they had 45 sprinters show up, and all of them tried to make the show (AKA: raced thier heat races, and B mains). Maybe they should have just loaded up.....

Even after winning the feature that night, how much -profit- did the owner of the 9x actually make after ALL expenses were paid?????

If people are so worried about their financial status, that they won't even attempt to race in their heat races, maybe they shouldn't be racing at all.

Who said they 'can't race'?

Why didn't they drive their way into the feature Sat. night then?... If you've seen them "drive through the field numerous times before", passing enough cars to get the transfer spots in a heat race should have been easy for them.

Besides, if Levi was that worried about saving his equipment, why did he go to L'burg in the first place....he should have stayed at the shop.

Hell, he had another complete/race ready car in the trailer...a luxury that a lot of weekend warriors don't have. Yet those guys run their heats, and B mains to get to the feature...all year long.

Maybe they should have talked to John Memmer about what he thinks of the MSCS format. Never have been a Jones fan and now his fans in turn 2 at Haubstadt will never convince he's a sprint car god because if hes that good he would of raced his way to the front, even if his equipment is tired and worn out its still better than most. The best make no excuses.

from what i saw if you started in the back it was kinda hard to make the top two. maybe if they had taken the top 3 and had some passing points system those men may have stayed. i think that decision was made before saturday. they were already there for usac show so why not see what you can draw. the draw system is like a lottery. both those drivers are 2 of the top dirt sprint car drivers running today. cry babies? i think not.

I think the ones throwing Chicken S*it accusations should post their name and face the line for the that would follow. You got every right to think it was right or wrong. Sometimes the name calling and accusations are over the top.
YMMV

67 cars a B'ton a few weeks ago with this format (two transfering from each heat) and no drivers left early because of the draw. This is just not expected from High Profile Drivers.......................

if all owners raced based on a business decision, racing would be dead.
