On the racing side... I don't have heros in the traditional sense but I do have my favorites.
Dave Darland, Steve Knepper, Billy Boat, Kevin Doty, Cory Kruesman On the personal side there are heros.... All those involved in the June 6th, 1944 invasion of France are at the top :respect: I would be remiss if I didn't mention those who fought in a certain little skirmish that lastest from July 1st through the 3rd of 1863 in Gettysburg, PA. Didja ever wonder what the Central Pa racing scene could have been like had those brave individuals not gave their all? My grandmother Irene Foote My son Payton who is challenged with Down's Syndrome One lesson in life I learned the hard way is if you are going to over achieve only once in life do it when you walk down the aisle in marriage. THANKFULLY I did that my second time around. For sure my bride of 8 Lisa years is one of my heros. |

Right off the top of my head....Audie Murphy, Bob Kinser, most certainly my wife who has endured much over the years (not even including me), Fireball Roberts, AJ, Alan Kulwicki, all the racers from the 50s and 60s, and the guys and girls who gave it their all at such places as Bunker Hill to Baghdad.

He can usually be found at Jeff's trailer where ever they are racing or the top row of the turn 4 end of the grandstands at Gas City & Kokomo. I'm not sure how old Don is. I know he still does a lot of work on Jeff's cars.
