Thank you to everyone that came out tonight and bought Kinser Clayton memorial shirts and stickers. Keeping his memory alive is my main goal. Hoping his shirt will be worn at racetracks around the country and that everyone will remember who he was and how special he was. Thank you to everyone that purchased a shirt or sticker. #Kinserwillliveon

It doesn't get any better than the first 15 laps were under green tonight among Brady , Kyle and Carson Short. A Vegematic couldn't slice and dice through lapped traffic like these three cars were. Wow, what fun! Something broke on Carson's car but Ballou was charging and took over third. Bobby couldn't keep up with Brady and Kyle and Brady held on for the win. What a great way to end the season at the "Class Track." There wasn't a cloud of dust all night and the surface was nothing but tacky. It sure is nice to only live 10 miles from one of the premier short tracks in America. I would like to see the Sprint Spectacular at Eldora but if Haubstadt is running the same night then why bother. Hope highlites will be available for all of you to check out.

When they were rolling them out, I remember thinking this may be the tackiest looking track I've ever seen. Even compared to other shows at TSS. This was going to be a hell of a race, but Kyle Cummins was going to be hard to beat, because he looked so, so strong in the heat race. He had just driven right to the front, from the third row, like it was nothing. Even passing Robert Ballou with ease. He would be starting on the outside of the front row, so everybody had their work cut out for them. Kyle jumped to the lead and held a nice margin for the first handful of laps. Brady then came after him and those two were all over each other for the next 25 laps!! It was simply the best wheel to wheel battle I've seen all year. Especially once they reached lapped traffic. The way they went at it tooth and nail, as they weaved in and out of back markers was mesmerizing. Extreme aggression, in a great display of close quarters combat. And as this was all going on, Robert Ballou, who had started 12th, was just tearing his way through the field. About half way through the race, he was up to fourth. Then, 19 laps in, when Carson Short put it in the wall (he had ran a hell of a race up to that point), Robert inherited third, so Brady and Kyle officially had company and we had a three car race to the finish on our hands. For most of the last ten laps you could have thrown a blanket over those three. Ballou actually pulled ahead of Kyle briefly, coming out of turn 2, with 2 laps to go. Kyle grabbed the spot back and they both chased Brady to the checkered. Brady took home the $4000, but he had to earn every penny of it, tonight. The track was great tonight and the race was even better. What a way the end the year.

Anybody that believes that a person can't be hypnotized has never been to a great sprint car race, before. For one thing, time is distorted. 30 laps both seems like it lasts forever and like it is over in a flash, all at the same time. And you just get drawn into these great battles and are on a roller coaster, that ends abruptly when the checkered flag is thrown. But, it's not over yet. Your experience has been imprinted on your subconscious mind and you get to watch it over and over again, during your long trip home. Kind of like an in-flight movie. Then for me, it's the Terre Haute sign that snaps me back into full waking consciousness.

A great way to end the season! The sprint feature was fantastic, and the modifieds provided some excellent racing as well. Dustin Beck drove to his first feature win, while a female spectator, an apparent Levi Kissinger fan, provided some additional entertainment with her trips down to the fence to let Beck know she felt he was number one. The modifieds are proving to be a worthy support class. If the action is a little off in the sprints, which it seldom is, the modifieds seem to rise to the occasion with thrilling wheel to wheel action.

And when Dave beck was walking back to the pits after victory lane with his son some guy was trying to fight him through the fence said that would meet in the pits after to finish it. That never happened, but would have been some cheap entertainment. Over all the racing throughout the night was very good I thought. Sprint cars put on a great battle, mods were very entertaining, and the mini sprints although no passes for the lead, proved they could provide a good show. Maybe take the wings off of them next time there and see what that's like.
