Kenny, you are doing such a great job at improving every day! Please keep up the hard work and dedication that you are giving to your physical therapy! Remember, you had better be walking or at least attempting to walk before we come to see you again! Destiny and Tristiny were so excited to see you and cant wait to have you up and running around again! Curt and Leslie, you guys are awesome! Hang in there and remember that we are still here for you!!

The Darlands!

9-15 Kenny is progressing extremely well. His motor skills are coming around and his left side continues to get stronger. He can sit up in bed unassisted and is able to walk a few steps with help. He is socializing very well but is still confused about current events. We are able to have a little fun with him as his humor is stronger than ever. He gets a kick out of us calling him 10 minute Kenny in relation to the 50 First Dates movie (10 second Tom). This is in reference to his short term memory which the therapists' are working on. We still don't know what the future holds, but he his coming around quickly. We are going to try and bring him to the Oct. 4th race at Lawrenceburg next month and then to the Kokomo Klash. He definately knows that the racing community has been extremely supportive and would like to make an appearance before the season ends to thank everyone. The doctors at Methodist are thinking that we might be able to start outpatient therapy in about 3 weeks. We cannot believe that it has been over 6 weeks already since the crash!

It would be really neat for Kenny to be at Lawrenceburg. His progress seems amazing. Keep working hard Kenny.
