New to Sprint Week, what is a last chance race?

Heats are about to start they were running mini sprint heats...Back to the post on page 3..:idea:

Looks like they added a lot of cars to the heat

Just got a text saying jimmy light took a real bad flip

Last chance race is for those who did not qualify in the top 32 I believe. I think that is the cut off number of cars. Then you runt his race to get the chance to start at the back of one of the heat races.
