I kinda wondered why they threw the checkered instead of the yellow at the end. Holtzclaw and Larson were in something like 3rd and 4th when they spun in turn 2. Cottle hadnt taken the checkers and more than half the field had to avoid them to get through. Just wondering.

Is that close to the track record? Was thinking it was around a 12.0 or 12.1?

I'll guess that the raceivers were used. (Spin in turn two) That would have given the field time to slow and miss the spinners.

I felt bad for Holtsclaw and not because he has to share first names with me. That incident ruined a good race for him.

Kevin Thomas had the record that has been held a long time since 1995-1999 I have not seen a update since then but it was 12.459!

So if that is the case Shane Cottle has the New Track Record at 12.381
