You might be "old school" if you remember:

Ken Fowler flagging USAC races
Tom Hamlin and Omar Williams announcing at Eldora, New Bremen, & Dayton
Shadow Kennedy announcing at Lawrenceburg
Don Hewitt in Maude Smith's blue #19
Frankie Mack's high flying act in turn 2 at The 'Burg
when every car at Indy was Special, i.e., the Drewry's Special, the Bardahl Special, the Willard Battery Special, etc.

and especially if you remember when:

Dave Foist and Danny Burton were too young for AARP.

Your old school if you watched Thursday Night Thunder on ESPN and the "Big Sprint Races" on ABC Wide World of Sports.

You might be old school if you remember Ed Watson dressed up as a clown and doing all sorts of crazy antics in his go cart druring a lull in the racing activities at various short tracks.

If you remember when they pitted in the infield at Haubstadt!

Remember some classic Gary Hayhurst Jr, Mark Cummings, and Kevin Briscoe scraps in the sprints and Keven Claycomb and Doug McCammon scraps in the late models!

I guess I'm just plain old. I remember "Potsy Goacher" driving midgets at the old Terre Haute Fastrack at 25th & Ft Harrison.

You are old school if you mix your alky with castor.

You are old school if you ran sprinters at Sweet Owen Speedway.

You might be Old School if you remember the USAC vs NCRA champ races in Okc.

You might be old school if you knew what happened between Jon Johnson and Rich Volger in those races.
