Undeniable. Great job.

Even with 48 sprint cars signed in, the track was great and held up well. There were heat races that were more loaded than a lot of features we all see, during the course of the year. Especially the first one. There were like four dozen A-Main wins in that one. Then there was Stanbrough's heat, where he spun, went to the back, sawed through the field and then drove away from them. Tell me that wasn't a harbinger of things to come. And the final heat was the best one of the lot, as Clayton and Schuerenberg went at it tooth and nail, in a good old fashioned Sikeston rumble. Then, come feature time, Stanbrough won, but it didn't come without having to fend off a couple of serious challenges, first. Clayton just drove the living dog p**s out of the Pottorff 11p tonight and was wheel to wheel with the eventual winner for the first third of the race or so. Between the driving display he put on tonight and the way he wowed the crowd in the last half of the race @ Calistoga, I'd say the MDC is back on his game and should be a factor at Tri-State tomorrow. Then in the last half of the race, Levi had worked his way through the Top 5, to the runner up spot and began to stalk the leader. And he got close, but other than taking a shot on a late race restart, he was never within real striking distance. Also worth mentioning, were valiant efforts turned in by Casey Shuman (just like last week @ LPS) and Ty Deckard. Both coming from the middle to back of the field, to round out the top 5. Deckard and Bryan Clauson was maybe the best battle of the race. He just gave BC fits, in a back and forth battle, which he ended up winning.

But, in the end, the night ended up belonging to Jon Stanbrough. Just like 19 others already have, this year. It's been an unbelievable year for this driver and that team. You're almost shocked when they're not posing for pictures next to their new trophy, at the end of the night.

Stanbrough was one of the few cars able to pass anybody tonight and he passed just the right amount...............Saturday night should be much better........JMO

I really don't get it, Theres living legends in the HOF but no, Not the non winged guys, Not the ones who win, USAC, KISS, MSCS, 30 different tracks. Goes outside his comfort zone and still finishes top five.

No respect whatsoever.

Way to Go Jon, Three Big shows, Three big car counts, A heat tonight you got spun and won knowing damn well the difference from third to first in the heat was Pole or 15th.

Hey Charles, Rip Williams was inducted into the HOF last year. If he can make it, we know that in time there will be a place for guys like Jon and Dave. Ripper is around 10 years older that those guys too.
