A couple of observations. Pretty racy track even though they didnt put much water on it. The Kokomo staff watched the forecasts and thought they were going to get some help from mother nature so they didnt water it last nite. For the life of me I cant figure out how that nerf bar got into the stands. Ballou was right up against the frontstretch wall, it should have got caught by the fence overhang. I'd like to see the video on that one. It was scary though!! Really bad break for BC he was in the lead with 2 to go and coming off 4 Windom drilled him in the left rear exploding the tire who's carcass cleared the fence in turn 1 I believe. Then I couldnt figure out how Stanbrough got put up front on the restart, neither could the 2 O'Connors sitting just below me. I guess the transponder doesnt lie but I sure dont remember it like that. Pretty good race and checkers by about 9:05.

John,

After Chris made contact with BC, Jon took the lead off of four passing both of them. While BC was still rolling down the front stretch, the rest of the field passed the scoring loop before the yellow came out. That is the only way I can figure that he could have been scored in the lead.

Tough break for Bryan for sure. Ballou, Cottle, Peterman, Douglas & Riggs were also on the short end of having any luck. The track was racy even though they didn't touch it once the racing action started. Another good night of racing with the falling early again.

I think you are right, thats the only good explanation I can think of. That Peterman wreck was nasty

It was a standard single bar front bumper, we didnt think it was Ballous at first, but he was the only one missing one.
