Duke, you keep making this more worthy of a vacation day, but not there yet (I am taking off some time the week after so I don't want to press my luck with time off two weeks in a row). I will make sure that the station I work at knows all about this.

Don't get me wrong, it's a really cool thing for you guys to do and it will be an event to remember, but it won't even be the biggest thing to happen at the this track, on that day. The USAC Sprint division will be racing the Tony Hulman Classic that day. That's what most of the people there will have come to see.

Jerry,

You may be right in one aspect. Something like this may bring in the fan who is unsure of coming to Terre Haute for the Hulman. There are LOTS of them who a unsure nowadays as we all know. I for one think it awesome! May FAVE driver when I was growing up is going to be there and I am stoked about the chance to get a pic/w him. The Hulman classic is perfect icing on this cake for the day.

I believe Wib Spalding is living in Bethalto,Illinois. I would bring him to TH but,
UNFORTUNATLEY, I will not be able to attend !
