I just read it to. I have a friend who is good friends with the family and they have been working on the car all week and he said that the chassis welds broke in 10 places on the car.

I wouldn't characterize it like that. They were using different parts of the track. Dave was up higher and would gain an advantage in 3 and 4, while Bryan was getting really good bite on the low side, in 1 and 2, where he would take big chunks out of what DD would gain on the other end of the track. Dave also did very well on both of the restarts, near the race's end. You have to like the way Clauson does things, though. He had so many opportunities to try to take the lead via slide job and he just didn't go that route. If he gets by you, he does it the right way.

Passing was not an easy thing, tonight. This race was made by two consummate professionals duking it out, by the Marquess of Queensbury rules. Three if you add Chad Boat in there. He was just a couple of lapped cars from throwing himself into the mix, right there at the end. It's obvious that this apple didn't fall very far from the tree.
