Changing the way they qualify At gas city last night 53 cars ran the same line in hot laps & qualifying burnt the top of the track up. So for the heats & features was pretty much follow the leader. Normally at gas city pill drawing on a regular night the heats & features are real racey not the one lane track it was last night. Changing it would speed up the program to get home earlier.

His bifocals or yours? Let me know if you guys need help. As far as being a spotter, if he is rolling down the steps I'm stepping out of the way!:rolling

Lets just make it a Tri state thing, bring in Ohio and Ill. and we'll call it speed month, and run for a month and really make USAC rich. Well dumb idea but just a thought!:rolling:rolling:rolling

as usual D.O. is on it that would be a great sprintweek schedule and so what if D.A. still owns twin cities the fleetwoods promote it and do an excellent job...and sprintweek needs to get back to what it was diffrent races at diffrent tracks not back to back races at 2 tracks then go on from there...

My openion, but lets do our best to get the Vern. back and if we have to extend it so be it: but keep Kamp and try to add a few new tracks and mix it up, and def, must have the big party at IMS during the break. Just food for thought! Jeff

Maybe the next week could be?

Osky $30k Tues
Knoxville $50k

Then the TNT series starts at Kansas City.

That would be a months worth of racing !!:applaud:

This is in response to the observations about Liberty.

The restrooms are small, but I am going to supplement them with port a johns for Midget Week August 7. If it goes well, I may bring in portable air conditioned restrooms in the future.

On first glance, there does not look to be enough parking. But around the backstretch, there is plenty of parking on a flat track drag strip. That is where the large campers may go. I plan on having parking lot directors, and the entrance..while on an incline....is concrete.

In regard to the concession stand, there are new ones in the new large press box to supplement the older building you saw.

That being said, I don't believe Liberty will have a Sprint Week date due to other tracks having priority. It is nice to dream about though.
