I wonder if they got the banking set wrong?? Is the clay wrong? Something is missing..

great place to go for a race, yet, a heat that starts and ends with no movement -- this is not good!!!

My .02 cents says that everything but the transition from the bank to the strait is what is missing. It is a harsh, steep grade to go from the flat of strait to the top, and to then only drop out of the sky off the corner back to the strait. It is very inviting to go from the top of the strait to the bottom of the corner which is basicly splitting the difference of "flat" to "bank." The issue that created the situation would most likely be the existing hieght of the grandstand. You would have to raise the grandstand to see the track to make the transitions better. You cant have banked staits with the first 10 rows of seating being as low as they are.

Fred,

Thanks for updating in one post. I like not scanning 15 pages of other stuff... I read it all, but I run two windows. One for just racing and the other for chatting.

Coons, jr. ..

Is he the big favorite to win??

Last night , in the feature, the fastest lap was 87mph.

In the B - coons did 98 mph....

Since the feature will be near the same track condition - he is flying -- compared to last night -- I would say you can "back up the truck" = he is a LOCK to win tonight..

LOL LOL LOL

we know -- too many other variables...

Sorry, we did not see you were on here or we would have asked too. Glad to hear the tests were ok. He will be sore for a few days, tell him we are thinking about him. Keep us posted, ok?
