The position of official starter is always open at WRP. Approach Race Director: Dan Kelly, Track Owner: Greg Shobe, and if they feel you can do a better job, I will gracefully step down.

First of all this position is not open. We have THE best flagging crew in the tri state area and you could not pay me to trade them. True professionals!!!'

Lastly we will come up with a resolution as it seems our method for the last few years is not a popular one. For the remainder of the season we are using a cone. Next year we will figure out a way to go green at the line in four but we still have to keep them single file prior to that. We will figure it out with the help of our drivers. Thanks for all the input.

Thanks for the consideration. Never had a problem with the racing, track or starters. Been pleased with car counts, 37 saturday. 38 for the SOD/NRA race I attended earlier this year. Will pencil in the 24th. See you then.

P.S. Thought I heard something about a Sept special? Any truth to that?

I will probably be told to shut up and mind my own business but I would have loved to see the outcome had Jack been put back for avoiding a would be crash, throw the yellow put the car that caused the yellow on the tail, did a car as you say spin there tires getting out of shape causing a scramble behind them?

Again common sense trumps any rule. Just my opinion blast if you wish.

No reason to blast you. Doesn't matter who the driver is, the rule is the same for all. There was no yellow. A car in line simply didn't accelerate as quickly as the drivers behind him were hoping/expecting. Ever driver had a decision to make and each decision had potential consequences. One driver chose to continue accelerating (remember no cone on straight. Line is the flag stand). Doing so put his car next to the car in front of him as he crossed the line. All hindsight, but if he pulled back out of line but stayed behind the car in front of him no penalty needed. That's why we removed the cone. To give the drivers the entire width of the track to avoid each other. Dan already said we will look into amending our constitution.

I appreciate the clarification on the current rule, I agree that the way it is written, the rule was broken and the proper penelty was accessed. It also sounds like once again WRP is trying to listen to the fans/racers to make things better or at least more clear cut for all. I also agree that the officials in the flagstand at WRP are at the top of the list of the tracks I attend, they have a thankless job and are only acknowledged when there is an issue.

The one thing I saw differently, not that it is important, is this. The car in front of Fischesser did not spin his tires, he tried to anticipate the start to get a jump, went early, had to brake to not run over the guy in front of him and got crossed up from that. That is why the bottleneck started IMO.

I thought the car that buzzed the tires ended up going through the infield. My bad!

Ancient wise man say man who get into race for free never see bad race.
