Damn guys this one hurts. Anyone remember that Jason was a protégé of P.J. & Page Jones? Or when he brought his dirt midget to I.R.P. from California? Or the 2001 Hoosier Hundred and Night Before the 500 back to back wins? Good stuff. I guess the ultimate compliment I can give Jason is he wasn't just a driver, he was a RACER. Always stood on the gas. Thanks for the memories, rest in peace buddy.

Those of us, like Kim and myself, who went to a bunch of midget races in the late '90s were blessed to watch Racin' Jason at his best.

Godspeed, Jason

Not like it matters now, but does anyone know what happened? I read he was running 2nd in his heat race and apparently something in the right front of the car broke and sent him into the wall and he starting flipping violently?

Just wondering if anyone had anymore information?
