hello everybody, mike here thanks,thanks for having an interest in the TI car. To answer a few questions, yes car was Very expensive to build,was welded up by a titanium bicycle company in boulder colo. My mindset was to build a car as if it were being built by a F1 team.With as many straight tubes as possible,taking some of the best ideas on other cars and my own and creating a car 10/tenths, unlike anyones ever seen. Unfortunaly, No this car will never race,it has become so expensive to build,turned out so nice,better than I ever hoped. The main cage is 11/2 od,every tube in the car was increased by one size. The butterfly steering wheel was made for Cruz Pedergon ! HA.I was just goofing around. Hey they use them in karts right? Anyway this was a very fun, hard,expensive project,and learned alot. Its the first and last car that I will ever build.Someday I,ll bring it to the bowl and display it.But for now its going to sit in the back of the garage in the smithsonian of mike with the dirt bike and all the other **** I dont use!

WELL:::

I say stick it together, all we really want to see is the roller anyhow, we don't need any body on the darned thing and bring it out to Tulsa. I'm sure they would make a place for it out front and they might even help finance the trip.

I have been looking forward to seeing this ever since I got wind of it. Please keep us informed of any travels with the car. Get it to the Chil Bowl whle it can be the first of a kind.
I can't imagine going this far without at least puting it on the track at th Chili Bowl for Monday practice.

Good luck.

I'd say at least make 5 or 10 laps even if its not at full speed. That way you at least have some photos of it going around the race track. Then clean it off and keep it as a show piece.

Or maybe, depending on how nice it looks, make it the chili bowl pace car for the feature.
