Only comment I have is from the "cage" forward kinda looked like maybe Tommy Hinnershitz might've drove something similar.

Okay, you guys are right, I give! The Murdock machine is an engineering marvel that will go down as the greatest machine to ever run a "J" Main. I am glad that the 360 days and money put into the car paid off for him.

Form and function are sometimes strange bedfellows, although I'm not sure Johnny's ride has much of either. He did run better than I've seen him run in the past, however, so I guess I have to give him that.

Fellas.... Racers are in this sport for many different reasons . Some feel unsuccessful if they don`t win every time they go to the track. Some rate a successful night just making the feature and loading up on all four wheels. Others get the satisfaction of taking something they have welded every joint , tightened every bolt , packed every bearing .......etc. and just participating in a race. I`m not a proponent of re-inventing the wheel but I will always look at someones deviation from the norm for their better idea. Sometimes it`s a "What the hell was he thinking? " or " How come I didn`t think of that?" reaction. I hope he accomplished his goal and had fun . Maybe his main goal was to market his new found notoriety among you fellas here and on other message boards. The marketing factor of message boards seems to be working for some.
